Location

The NAFC Marine Centre lies just metres from the sea on the waterfront in the historic village of Scalloway, Shetland's ancient capital.  Scalloway has a population of about 1,000 and Shetland's capital, Lerwick (with a population around 7,500), is only 15 minutes drive away.

Scalloway has its own swimming pool near to the Centre, as well as pubs, a hotel, museum, shops, boating club and marina.  Da Haaf Restaurant and coffee bar is located on the campus.  Situated in Lerwick is Shetland's largest leisure complex - Clickimin Leisure Complex - complete with swimming pool, health suite, squash courts, climbing wall and fitness centre.
